Maybe you did not know, but RUBICONE created the first bases for Gelato and marked a real change in the field. That’s right! In 50’S RUBICONE formulated FIRST complete bases for the preparation of Italian Gelato.

This evolution on ingredients world allowed Gelato makers to expand production and improve quality.
Our story began in 1959 in Cesena, Italy.
Back then we were a small Italian company with innovative ideas for making easier Gelato production. This pioneering spirit helped RUBICONE to be one of the first companies to take Italian confectionery tradition and transform it into products for Italian Gelato.Since its birth, RUBICONE immediately conquers Gelato laboratories throughout Italy and Germany: the reason for this growing success lays in “Buon Gusto” of refined recipes, all derived from local pastry tradition as Sicilian Pistachio, Tiramisù, Panna Cotta and Mascarpone.

QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT
Quality Control department is a team of professionals dedicated to safety of ingredients assigned of testing allproducts and raw materials. They work closely together with Research and Development Department and organize Panel Tests to getfeedback on taste and texture of Gelato. The laboratory ensures that every product leaving the factory has been tested for quality and integrity.
